Ooh la la

WOW what a response! it might just have been a record for us we are thrilled that you enjoyed our last challenge so much.   One thing though we might just need to remind you of the rules.  They are published in full on our rules page.   Key points:
1. Each challenge is limited to 3 entries per person
2. Entries must follow the theme of the challenge the theme should be the predominate subject of your entry.
3. Please do not backlink to old posting you aim to challenge and inspire you to create a new piece of work.

Mervi will be back next week with her top 3 think she will need a week to narrow it down to just 3!

This fortnight Debi has set our challenge which is sponsored by Stamp Addicts.

Handing you over to Debi now:

Bonjour mes amies!! I just fancied us creating something other than Christmas related cards, though we could have a French Noel ;-) I think many of us love French style and elegance. So lets celebrate le Chic Francais !

Timekeeping Winners

Hi Suzanne here, I didn't for one minute think you crafters would make it easy for me but WOW what outstanding pieces of art we had for the time-keeping challenge.  I have struggled to pick just three and I can assure you these are not just words....the job was a tough one!  Anyway I managed to whittle it down (hope you're all feeling suitably sorry for me lol x) and here goes:-

13. Myra
Being a fan of  layers I loved the layered look especially the use of the Crafty Individuals stamp as part of the    background rather than being the focal image.

14. Monique
I am not usually a fan of the dark/macabre genre but this dimensional piece caught my attention.  I love the 3D effect and the attention to detail.

24. Debbie S
I was really taken by the striking black and gold of this piece.  So very dramatic.

Well done ladies.....there was not a "timekeeping" project I did not love among all the entries ....all very different but amazing.  Suzanne ~x~

My (Zoe) apologies this is late again, busy fun week-end put me off my stride.   Congratulations to all Suzanne's top 3 now for the winner of the random draw;

21 Daniele  please send me an email to zoechaos@btopenworld.com with your address and I'll pop your prize in the post for you.

Punches and die-cuts

Hello, thank you all for joining us again with all your terrific time pieces.   Suzanne has got her work cut out for her choosing just 3.

To make the most of your chances of winning please check our rules as we do check your blogs.

Our sponsor this fortnight is Rarebird, and another of their fabulous jewellery kits.

Hello, it's DT Mervi from Finland! Time really flies having fun with you.
And now it's my turn to challenge you to play with your punches and die-cuts.
There are so many beautiful shapes and figures to add to your creation, I feel it's sometimes difficult to choose what to use - and some are forgotten to folders.
So I wish you dig out your oldest ones too.

And a little message from the real Santa Claus of Finland, it's only 45 days to Christmas!

Oriental Winners

Hi, time to let you know who impressed and who had the lucky number.

First though recently people had not claimed their prize.  After carefully checking my email I checked the link on the winners post, it appears that has not been working.  I am mortified, my email address is zoechaos@btopenworld.com, if you are one of those who could not send the requested email please do so now and I will either post your prize to you or pass it onto the sponsor of that fortnights prize.

It is my turn (Zoe) to select our top 3 this time, never an easy task you share so many wonderful and different projects and styles with us.   So after a lot of revisiting, long listing and head scratchin' these are the projects I have chosen in the order they were entered:

So much attention to detail on this fabulous card, the image stamped on the circles had to be matched to the image stamped on the black background!   Traditional Japanese colours and imagery made this a standout entry.

Megha's second entry to the challenge I think and stunning.   The technique of using glass paints on foil produced a wonderful result.  It must have taken heaps of practice to achieve this result.

Sue is a very talented paper crafter who regularly shares her creativity with us here at Craft-Room Challenge.   This hanging is so very much in the Oriental theme, at least to these western eyes.   Fell in love with this.

I am sorry I could  not pick everyone please do not be to disappointed the top 3 is very subjective and a matter of personal taste, NOT a reflection on your skills and art every entry was special.

Last but not least the winner of the Random draw, please send me an email at zoechaos@btopenworld.com with your address and I'll pop your prize in the post to you.   The lucky winner is:

Congratulations to all our winners, we would be delighted if you take a copy of our award badges for your blogs.
