Collage Winners

Apologies for the lateness of this post the scheduler did not do it's job and neither did I or it would have been spotted sooner.   Better late than never here are Esther's winner's.

Wow thank you so much for the wonderful entries to our last challenge. I loved that there were so many different interpretations of Collage and it was really tricky to choose my favourates - but I had to narrow it down so here they are -

5. Viv - Such beautiful vintage details

6. House of Bears - loved the bright hot colours and images, I'm going on my hols this weekend and this got me in the mood !

7. Valerie-Jael - A wonderful textured background with a hint of sparkle

I can count over 7 - the numbers are purely coincidental !

Zoe has run the random thingy to choose the winner who this week is -  18 Glennis

Congratulations, drop Zoe an email to let her know your details so she can send you your prize.

Thanks again and I don't forget you still have a week to enter our current challenge  -Childhood Memories.

Childhood Memories

We all loved your collage's there was some amazing art, Esther has been having a great time visiting you all trying to decide on her top 3!

For our challenge this time we are sponsored by Tando Creative.

To make the most of your chances of winning please check our rules as we do check your blogs.

Maria is your hostess this fortnight -

Hi, this time round I've chosen the theme of "Childhood Memories" as, quite a few times, I've bought a stamp because it reminded me of a time or event from my childhood, or used an old photograph, and made or altered something which has turned out to be quite special.  So for this fortnight's theme,

I'd love to see (and hear!) what your Childhood Memories inspire you to create, be it a card, layout, altered item, in fact anything you wish, using rubber stamps, photos, etc, but

"No Digi Stamps

please for this fortnight's theme.

Have fun, and I hope you enjoy casting your mind back to your Childhood Memories!

Esther is your hostess this fortnight:-

Hi, I thought I'd try something different and choose a theme which was a bit out of my comfort zone to challenge myself, so I've picked 'Collage'. The Oxford dictionary defines Collage as -

'A piece of art made by sticking various materials such as photographs and pieces of paper or fabric on to a backing'

The word itself is from early 20th century and French in origin literally meaning 'gluing'. I think some of the team found it a tricky one too (sorry girls) but they came up with some beautiful  pieces so I hope you are inspired to have a go. What I loved about making my collage is that there are really no rules..I just had fun sticking stuff together...
